Our Aim
Our team are all published authors, poets and playrights and so we believe we
look at the world
through 'writers eyes'. Although we also believe we are the best people to
advise and help both up and coming writers as well as beginners and those well
published, we are not averse to taking advise ourselves and so we actively
seek articles and notes on writing of all forms.
In this day and age publishers have to be extremely cost conscious. The risk
factor associated with printing anything by new authors, combined
with
the high cost of printing gives rise to something in the order of 99% of all
submitted creative writing being rejected. This means that many excellent
works of fiction
including novels, short stories and poetry collections sit around never to
go beyond the publishers slush pile. Our Aim is to provide a service to both
Writers and Readers by showcasing many of the good works of fiction that would
otherwise be left unseen and unread, and to present it in such a way that the
discerning reader can discover the wealth of talent that is left out of the
market place.
We are not Vanity Publishers and never will be. We do not promise the writer
the moon, only to present his or her work to the best of our ability and bring
it to the attention of the reading public.
The showcase is unique for it gives participating writers the opportunity to
have their work seen by the
reading public without infringing copyright. What is more, we will undertake
to promote work of exceptional
standard to the publishing industry.
As will be seen we also offer a host of other services, some free, all
inexpensive, including copyright archiving and file safety and we will
happily display details of Creative Writing Competitions, Creative Writing
Courses and Writing Group News free of charge
If you are looking for, or wish to submit anything of a sexual, racial or
pornographic nature, you are politely requested to look elsewhere.
