Davy is on holiday at his Grandparents’ home when he finds himself involved in a scary adventure with some of the local children. Just what is the frightening creature that roams the local countryside, and what has his grandfather got to do with it? Set on the Welsh Borders, Davy and three friends discover that there are long-hidden secrets and more than one ghost prowling the land. Touches of life in the 1950’s, along with a very strong hint of magic at work, make this an exciting tale for older children and adults who may recall their own childhood, when the world might have seemed a much more innocent place.
