Love - Funny Love
Yesterday I was a king
In a kingdom of riches
The world was at my feet
The sky was full of beauty
Poetry, songs and music
Were in my heart
To live in a garden of delight.
= I was in love =
Today I am a beggar
In a desolate winter lane
Crying in despair
To console my pain.
Tomorrow will come
And only fate will tell
If I will stay in a winter lane
Or be a king again.

Old man in a Pub
A sip of a drink.
A puff of a smoke.
A smile to a friend.
A clap to the music player.
Kidding who?
Your eyes are going around,
Pretending not to see.
Your thoughts are there,
With love and memory.
Holding your hands to that firm breast,
Kissing her lips tenderly,
Caressing her velvet skin,
You show your anxiety.
She is young and pretty,
Hardly notices where you stand.
Her heart is occupied
By the one who holds her hand.
You may be young at heart,
But surrounded by an enemy
Disguised in aged wrinkles,
Giving away your secrecy.
You were young once,
And that young man will one day be like you.
Looking at a young pretty face,
He will feel this fantasy too.
So cheer up, old chap,
It’s not a disease – can’t you see?
Have another drink, another chat.
It is only, old age fantasy.
