Our Writing Group which encompases both Ascriber and Writers Eyes, is for
writers who for one reason or another cannot get to a regular local venue.
Perhaps it's too far or perhaps not at a time convenient to the writer, it may
even be that lack of confidence in ones own ability prevents the writer from
attending.
The Ascriber / Writers Eyes Group is for all creative writers no matter their
standard of achievement. We all have to start somewhere and we believe that
we've all had fears that our work simply isn't good enough to read it out in
front of others, especially when we have to face them.
So whether you have only just started on what is the very often extremely
lonely business of creative writing, or whether you've had a hundred novels or
books of poetry published. This is your group and if you want to share your
work for
constructive
criticism or for furtherence of ideas then why not
sign up below. There are no joining fees at the present time but it
is possible that in future members may have to pay
a one off joining fee to cover administration.
Whilst we would like an accurate account of those belonging to the group, we
believe that should any author wish to display their work anonymously then that
confidence should be upheld. We will make pages available for free showcasing
for constructive criticism but of necessity must restrict the length to no more
than 1500 words preferably sent to us as a doc or docx file unless prior
arrangement is
made with us.
All work showcased in this way must be the authors original work and any breach
of copyright will be held against the person who has submitted the work.
The authors name will be displayed with the work unless the author states
otherwise. We would then suggest a pen name is included.
