In the Grass
Skip the Workshop take me straight to the submissions
It's a beautiful day, the sun is really warm, skylarks are singing their songs of praise to the world and dragonflies are flitting around a herd of cows munching away at the luscious grass in the meadow(do you get the picture), when suddenly something happens right by the feet (or foot) of one of the cows. What has happened? I could be that it stood on an alien space craft (who knows what size these aliens are anyway? It could be that the ground is opening up beneath its feet and it's about to disappear down a big dark hole or there could even be a wedding ring, a diamond bracelet or something similar hidden in the grass. Whatever happens is entirely up to you, but you set the scene, decide what is going to happen, make it happen and carry on from there. Oh, I nearly forgot, story writers must also bring in the name Max Mint, somewhere in the story.
