Visualise a shoe - but most important, there is only one shoe
Does it belong to a lady? a gent? a child? a doll? or maybe even a horse. .
What colour is it? Where is it? Why is it there? Who does it belong to?
Is there something really special about it? a memory or a souvenir perhaps.
Has it left a mark somewhere, in mud? on a carpet? or in someones heart?
Consider the original owner, where is she, he, it now?
When did they get it?
You may use any genre
Short stories and articles no longer than 2500 words
Poetry no longer than 40 lines
