The Bird

Imagine a bird, it could be a blackbird, an eagle, a sparrow or even a chicken or a budgie in a cage. If fantasy is your special talent then maybe a phoenix

What's it doing at the moment? Perhaps it's just sitting looking, or chasing a marauder from it's nest site or maybe soaring above some special scene below.

What is the weather like?

Are there people around, if so who are they and what are they doing?

Yes you've guessed it, this month's workshop must strongly feature a bird or birds, though it doesn't matter what else you include. In fact your central character could even be next door's cat.

There is just one other thing, we need a strong description of a smell somewhere in you submission.

As usual, the best of luck and we are looking forward to seeing your work.
